Happy finals week!
I'm officially 3/4 of the way through college and I am so excited to have a nice break from it all to recharge and come back with a new lust for the hustle again. But, I do have a major announcement:
I'm going abroad!!!!!!!
Not for long, but it's still an exciting experience for me! I'm going to be travelling with the Murrow College of Communication to Bulgaria and Greece this summer! AAAAH!!!!!! I literally cannot wait! As I write this, I am a week away from departing. We'll be traveling from Seattle to Sofia, Bulgaria, then to Greece from there. I have never been to Greece; it's always been on my list of places to go! Never did I think I would get to go to Bulgaria, either. I can't say it's a country I ever thought I would visit in my lifetime. This experience is going to be so amazing! I cannot wait!
For my trip, I'll be traveling with about 25 of my classmates and 2 professors to do (as the title suggests) "Epic Storytelling in Greece and Bulgaria"! I think that means a lot of marketing and journalism, though this trip is not to be confused with Murrow's Backpack Journalism trip that they do (which is also awesome). I had a couple of friends go on this same trip last year, and all they do is absolutely rave about it! I'll be doing 2 classes while I'm there, and also enjoying the scenery and exploring 2 amazing countries! I cannot wait!
I also decided, because why not, to start doing a video diary as well! I am not so confident about posting these on social media, but I want them shared somewhere! I'll be trying to put weekly updates about how it's going, what we've done, what I've learned, and all that fun stuff!
