Happy Spring!

It's been a while since I've sat down to write an entry in my blog, but I need to get back into the practice so here we are!

Life in the new year has been busy to say the least. I love being busy, it keeps me organized and often times helps me academically. I find that I am able to keep myself way better organized when I have less free time on my hands as compared to when I'm able to lounge around at home.

In the bit of free time I do have, I set time aside for those I love. I find it immensely important to prioritize time with your friends and loved ones when you get the chance. Life can get so overwhelming and stressful, and those around you are there to lean on for support and care. With the beginning of the spring semester, I have definitely been leaning on my friends more and more to destress and decompress from the stress of work and school. And of course, I never go to a social gathering without my camera! Candid photos on my Canon G7x always find a way onto my camera roll and my feed! I love how photography and cameras are slowly becoming such a quintessential part of social gatherings and social media! The digital point-and-shoot camera is seeing such a renaissance, and I am all here for it!

On top of school and work, spring football is right around the corner! To say I'm excited is both a stretch and an understatement. I won't lie, I am far from a morning person. I can be if I have to be, but I would not choose to wake up at 5 am for workouts if I didn't have to. Once spring ball starts and drills start up, I think I'll be much more excited to get up in the morning.

Spring break has come and gone, and it's been so wonderful to take some time off and recharge before the busy season starts up! I travelled down to Arizona, armed with a film camera (that will be developed soon) and lots of water, to watch Mariners' spring training! If you know me, you know I love baseball. I spent so much time in local drinking establishments during playoff baseball, soaking up the first-ever (almost) Mariners World Series run. I am so excited for baseball season, so keep an eye out for content from the upcoming WSU baseball season!

Until then,

-t
